Book your Jumpseat Conversation
Now it’s time to lock in your recording slot and show up ready.
This page walks you through everything before your session: how to book, what to expect, and how to make the most of your spotlight.
Book Your Recording Slot
Pick a date and time that works for you. Once you book, you’ll get a confirmation with your StreamYard link and a short prep checklist.
What Happens on Recording Day
The session is recorded via StreamYard. You’ll join from your browser — no app download needed.
Here’s the flow:
5 min before: Join the StreamYard link. Mike McCormick will be there to run a quick tech check and make sure your audio and video look right.
The pitch: You have 5 minutes. No slides, no deck — just a clear, direct explanation of what you built, who it’s for, and why it matters now.
Mike’s questions: After your pitch, Mike will ask 2–4 minutes of follow-up questions. These aren’t gotchas. He’s drawing out the real story.
Total session time: 20–30 minutes, including setup.
How to Prep
You already know your company. Don’t over-rehearse. What lands on camera is clarity, not polish.
Come ready to answer:
- What do you do, in two sentences
- Who it’s for
- What makes it different from what already exists
- Where you are right now and what you’re looking for
- THE BIG REVEAL: What’s one thing you’ve never told anyone about your company or product/service
That’s it. Mike will do the rest.
One technical note: This will be on video! Find a quiet room with decent light in front of you, not behind you. Hardwired internet is better than Wi-Fi if you have the option.
After You Record
The Travel Again Advisory team handles editing and upload. You’ll receive a heads-up before your segment goes live so you can be ready to promote it to your own audience.
We’ll send you a promo kit with graphics and copy you can post directly. The more you put it in front of your network, the more eyes it gets on both sides.
